There were two separate render passes. One was with a highly reflective surface, and the other was and orange and white toon shader with the black gridlines. I will put them in my 'scraps' folder when I get a chance.
I brought them into Photoshop and overlaid the orange/white toon render over the blue/black chrome render.
All in all, it probably took me about 2-3 hours to complete.
I have a large series of these wallpapers, since I'm always changing it to another original image. Maybe I'll end up posting them all. (They are mostly abstract, some 3D and some fractal, some impressionistic paintings and some heavy treatments of adult/risque images.)
Wanna see the scraps. I just blew through a CorelDraw trial.. it blew through me, actually
All I want to do is make the necessary images for webpages.. you know: merges, fades, morphs,
Does Photoshop--at 800 buckets--do that?

That being said...
My all-time favorite Web Design Package has to be Macromedia Dreamweaver!
CSS is a breeze with it, advanced layouts are very easy, and it supports plugins for everything it couldn't do out of the box.
BTW, the scraps are up.
hope I can afford some software (all I use is MS-paint and IrfanView.com filters)
